Are dogs allowed to be uoff leash, under voice control, on the hiking trails? I really need to know. Thank you.
RESPONSE: If you are hiking in a Federal, State or local park, leashes are required. This is for the safety of the pet and for other hikers.

Santa Fe is a beautiful place and a popular place for pets. Walking in the center of town with your dog is easy. There are beautiful hikes dogs would love. Most people are very good about keeping their dogs in check and leashed.
